Form — Pour Test & Safe Service Acknowledgment¶
Companion to Handbook §6 and the Pre-Shift Sheet. Owner: Head Bartender.
Pour test¶
A pour test validates a bartender's ability to pour a consistent amount every time — it's what keeps the SDE numbers on the POS honest.
- Blind test, three pours: 0.25 oz, 1.25 oz (or standard pour), and 2.0 oz into a graduated tube. All three must be accurate for a Pass.
- All employees are pour-tested as part of training, and every two weeks if their job involves beverage production (settled by Jordan 2026-07-11 — supersedes the weekly and monthly figures in the source docs).
- Sign-off: Head Bartender or MOD/Shift Leader. Lapse of more than two weeks = off beverage-production shifts until passed.
- Each employee must pass their scheduled pour test within three attempts or be sent home.

attempts, verifier) → cert dashboard shows pour-test currency next to TABC/Food Handler
expiry; n8n flags lapses before scheduling.
